New Recruits

EdgeFiller has now hired two new PhD students to work within the project.

Anthony Impellizzeri (IMN Nantes)
Anthony obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Physics at Catania University in Italy, specialising in Theoretical Nanoelectronics, before performing his Masters project at DTU Nanotech in Denmark, in the Theoretical Nanoelectronics Group.  He has joined the IMN Nantes group to work on atomic-scale computational modelling of collapsed (and filled) carbon nanotubes.  Amongst his hobbies he was a European Kung-Fu champion and enjoys playing tennis.

 

Emmanuel Picheau (CRPP Bordeaux)
Emmanuel is working in the CRPP group of Dr. Alain Penicaud, developing new routes to solvation of carbon nanotubes, sheath separation, dogbone tube preparation and filling.
